
Aim: The Student Social Poster Competition aims to present the achievements of students from all over the world, creating posters on social topics. The competition is open to all students studying in the field of visual arts and design (universities or academies worldwide).
Organizers: Department of Visual Arts, Faculty of Educational Studies and Arts, Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, Bulgaria
Conditions for participation:
Category 1 Realized posters dedicated to a socially significant topic.
Category 2 Posters on the topic: Human rights.
There is no participation fee.
Format:
Mandatory format 100 x 70 cm.
Number of posters submitted:
Each student can send a maximum of 3 posters. Posters are sent only in digital
version by this form in two formats:
1. jpg, size A4, resolution: 72 dpi, RGB
2. pdf, size 100 x 70 cm, resolution: 300 dpi, CMYK
Each file must be labeled as follows: Country_Name_Surname_Name-of-poster.
Deadlines:
By November 16, 2025
Jury:
A national jury determines the collection that will be included in the digital catalog.
The results of the selection will be published and announced by the end of November 2025.
An international jury will determine the 30 best posters, which will be presented at an
exhibition at the Alma Mater Gallery, Sofia, Bulgaria, in 2026, as well as the three prizes.
The organizers cover the costs of printing and displaying the posters for the exhibition.

1st prize Organizing and holding a solo exhibition and plaque;
2nd prize Plaque;
3rd prize Plaque;
The organizers may photograph and reproduce the posters without additional payment
for the needs of printed and electronic materials and publications dedicated to the exhibition.
The organizers reserve the right to refuse participation of works that do not comply with
the statute, as well as those that violate universal human values.
