NUCLEAR SCAR: PAST · PRESENT · FUTURE

International poster campaign for the 40th anniversary of the Chernobyl Tragedy

In April 2026, the world will celebrate 40 years since the Chornobyl disaster — an event that changed world history and left a deep mark on the memory of humanity in Ukraine. This tragedy is not only a painful memory but also an important lesson for future generations.

“Nuclear Scar” is a metaphor that unites the consequences of Chornobyl and the trauma of current threats. The time series is the continuity of danger and the importance of awareness of it at each stage.

We invite professional designers and students of relevant academies to participate in the exhibition poster project for the 40th anniversary of the Chornobyl tragedy.
We want your works to be not only a tribute to the victims and liquidators, the consequences of the Chornobyl disaster, but also a powerful call for responsibility, environmental awareness and the prevention of similar disasters
in the future.

Please spell it right!
Chornobyl, not Chernobyl
