Biography

Biography

Farzad Saeedi was born in the summer of 1991 (1370 in the Iranian calendar) in Jafarabad Moghan, a border town in Ardabil Province, Iran. Due to limited educational facilities during his teenage years — particularly the absence of art schools and training institutes in his hometown — he chose to pursue a degree in Experimental Sciences in high school. Nevertheless, driven by his passion for art, he actively participated in school art activities and practiced drawing and oil painting independently.

The first major challenge in his artistic journey came when he decided to pursue Graphic Design and register for the national art entrance examination, a decision that faced opposition from those around him. Despite this resistance, he successfully entered university, becoming the first in his circle to pursue this professional artistic path. Although several years have passed since his graduation in Graphic Design, many friends and acquaintances still refer to him as a painter.

In 2010 (1389), with limited prior knowledge of the field, Saeedi entered university and began his academic journey in Graphic Design. By studying posters from major international art movements, he initiated his research and exploration in the field. Alongside his academic assignments, he accepted professional commissions in various branches of graphic design as well as photography.

In 2014 (1393), he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design as a top student. He then continued his professional career with numerous achievements in the field. His works — particularly his poster designs — have been widely welcomed both in Iran and internationally.

Saeedi began his professional career in 2012 (1391). Between 2012 and 2014, he served as Secretary of the Graphic Design Association at Nabi Akram University of Tabriz. Over the past several years, through continuous artistic activity and the creation of innovative works, he has been selected and recognized in dozens of national and international festivals in graphic design and poster design across many countries, including the United States, Germany, Spain, Estonia, Slovakia, Ukraine, Ecuador, the United Kingdom, Italy, Iran, Taiwan, Turkey, Russia, South Korea, Poland, North Macedonia, Mexico, Montenegro, Greece, and others. Throughout these years, he has received numerous awards and honors.
