The 5th National Literary Festival “Narratives of Elegy” aims to promote Ashura-inspired literature and reinterpret the Karbala event through the lens of contemporary humanity.
This literary event welcomes submissions from writers across Iran in two categories: Short Story and Narrative.
Entries must be submitted in Word format, not exceeding 5,000 words.
There is no limit to the number of submissions per writer, but works previously submitted to other festivals will not be accepted.
Selected works will be announced at the closing ceremony, and winners will receive trophies, certificates, and cash prizes.
The submission deadline is July 22 (1st of Mordad) and will not be extended.
